Das Windows-Tablet VivoTab Note 8 von Asus ist nun verfügbar. Der handliche 8-Zöller für rund 300 Euro ist preislich eine echte Android-Alternative.

Auf dem VivoTab Note 8 kommt Windows 8.1 als Betriebssystem zum Einsatz. Intern arbeitet das Tablet mit einem Intel Atom Quadcore-Prozessor, der mit maximal 1,86 GHz getaktet ist. An Bord sind 2 GByte Arbeitsspeicher und je nach Version 32 oder 64 GByte Datenspeicher, der sich über einen MicroSD-Slot erweitern lässt.
Außerdem hat das 380 Gramm leichte Asus VivoTab Note 8 eine 5-Megapixel-Rückkamera, eine HD-Frontcam, Bluetooth 4.0, einen MicroUSB-Anschluss und WLAN - aber kein Mobilfunkmodul. Vorinstalliert ist das Software-Paket Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013. Der Lithium-Polymer-Akku hat eine Kapazität von 4.090 mAh.
